Terms & Conditions

We look forward to collaborating with you! Here is what you need to know when working with Town Print. 

Terms

All orders must be paid in full before any production begins unless otherwise approved by Town Print and mutually agreed upon.  

Artwork &
Proofing

All design files must meet our art file requirements. Town Print is not responsible for poor quality printing due to poor artwork and reserves the right to refuse an order if design files do not meet the standards.

 

Town Print will send a mock-up for your approval prior to printing. The digital proof is to be approved by the customer via a mock-up through email.  The customer is responsible for checking the artwork for spelling, color, sizes ordered, placement of the art and accuracy of the design. Town Print will not accept responsibility for corrections not implemented and/or requested after artwork approval. Town Print is also not responsible for any misspellings, errors, or issues in your art file. Any modifications requested after customer approval will result in production delays and could require additional fees and/or expenses. Any delays in the approval process longer than 24 hours after receipt of the mockup could result in production delays.

Copyright & Trademarks

Use of images, logos, text, or designs protected by trademark or copyright requires permission from the owner or trademark holder. Customers must guarantee that you have the legal right to reproduce the above-mentioned properties. Town Print assumes by submission of your design that you have legal ownership of any and all logos, designs, text, graphics, trademarks and copyrights, and the arrangement thereof. Town Print assumes no legal liability in any trademark or copyright infringement disputes. Town Print reserves the right to refuse an order that may infringe upon copyright or trademark assets/properties.

Cancellations & Restocking Fees

Cancellations made after order has been placed will be subject to a 15% restocking fee plus any additional fees required to cover services already rendered. No cancellations or refunds will be accepted once production or any customization of the garments has begun on the order.

Guarantee
Delivery Date

Town Print consistently meets our customer’s deadline and will do everything we can to meet any must-have dates, but we cannot guarantee it. Rush fees, additional fees, and/or expenses may apply if there are changes to agreed upon delivery date. Customers are responsible for any expedited shipping or delivery charges associated with the order.

Town Print is not responsible for any delivery or shipping delays caused by the shipping company.

Payment & Returned Checks

Town Print accepts the following the forms of payment: Cash, Check, Credit Card, PayPal, and Venmo,  Production does not begin until orders are paid in full, unless other terms are arranged or mutually agreed upon. Delay in payment may result in delay of production timeline, additional fees and/or expenses. or delivery of an order.

Customers will be subjected to a $50 fee for returned checks. 

Garment Disclaimer

Town Print is not responsible for garment defects such as color inconsistencies, stitching errors, mislabeled garments, loose/inconsistent stitching, and/or garment defects (holes in garments, ripped seams, etc.). We are not the manufacturers of the garments. Our team inspects all garments prior to delivery/shipping and will do our best to ensure you receive the perfect garment, but cannot guarantee it.   

Town Print is not responsible for items that are out of stock. All garments are ordered after your order is placed, unless available in-house, and we cannot guarantee their availability. If items are out of stock, we will provide you with a list of alternative options for your approval.

Satisfaction Clause

Town Print is not responsible for your satisfaction of the garments and printed artwork. Customers are advised to research, review specs, and do your due diligence on the garment choice. Town Print can provide recommendations, show samples (if available), and/or order a number of blank samples for you to choose from. Customers are responsible for the cost of the blank samples and cannot be credited towards the cost of your order.

Quality Assurance & Claims

All printed garments are inspected and checked for quality prior to delivery or shipping. Customers are responsible for notifying us of any issues within 72 hours of receiving the order by emailing Order[@]townprintshop.com. Town Print will not be responsible for errors with your order if notified after 72 hours of receiving the order and any lost income, customers, accounts, and/or contracts if defective garments are sent out to your final customer.  

Any order printed differently than the mock-up approved will be granted a reprint of the defective product. We do not offer refunds, but will reprint any production errors that exceed the spoilage rate of 3%. 

Misprinted shirts must be shipped back to our shop. We will provide you with a shipping label and will cover shipping costs. Town Print will not be responsible for any shirts sold or given away prior to returning the order.

Town Print Is Committed To Ethical And Responsible Conduct In All Of Our Operations. We Respect The Rights Of All Individuals And We Are Dedicated To A Standard Of Excellence. We Strive To Comply With All Laws Applicable To Our Business. Our Business Practices Will Adhere To The Standards Of Ethics, Safety, And Social Responsibility To Uphold The Rights Of Individual Workers And Advance Protections For The Environment.

We Encourage And Expect That Similar Standards Will Be Maintained By Our Suppliers, Manufacturers, Contractors, Distributors, Or Supply Chain Business Partners  To Promote Continuous Compliance With Applicable Legal And Safety Requirements. Where A Business Practice Contrary To These Standards Is Discovered Within Our Company Or Our Supply Chain Business Partners, We Are Committed To Taking Appropriate Action To Bring The Business Practice Within Acceptable Standards.

1. Forced Labor

Forced Labor & Human Trafficking: Town Print prohibits the use of all forms of forced labor, including indentured, prison, servitude, and bonded labor, slavery of any kind and any form of human trafficking. Town Print will maintain employment strictly on a voluntary basis.

2. Child Labor

Child Labor: Town Print will comply with the minimum ages of workers as prescribed by local law and international standards applicable to our Company and operations. Town Print prohibits the employment of any child under the age of 15 (or 14 where local law allows), or where the age for completion of compulsory education, whichever is higher. Town Print employing young persons who do not fall within the definition of “children” will also comply with any laws and regulations applicable to such persons.

3. Abuse, Coercion, or Harassment

Humane Treatment of Labor:  Town Print honors the human spirit and societal expectations by demanding and maintaining a work environment that is dignified in all respects and free from violence, inhumane treatment of workers and any form of actual or threatened harassment or verbal, physical, sexual or psychological abuse.

4.Nondiscrimination

No Discrimination: Town Print values diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace and in our business operations. Town Print prohibits discrimination in all business activities on the basis of age, nationality, race, religion, social status, ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, political affiliation, marital status, disability, or other protected classes as determined by local law.

5. Employment Relationship

Town Print adopts and adheres to rules and conditions of employment that respect workers and their rights under national and international labor and social security laws and regulations. We expect our business partners, at a minimum, will safeguard their workers’ rights under similar laws and regulations.

6. Freedom of Association

Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining:  Town Print respects the right of all workers, in conformance with local law, to organize and bargain collectively and to engage in peaceful assembly without unlawful interference, penalty, discrimination, retaliation, intimidation or harassment.

7. Health, Safety & Environment

Workplace Environment Health & Safety: Town Print will provide a safe, secure, and hygienic workplace in compliance with applicable local laws and regulations, ensuring at a minimum reasonable access to potable water and sanitary facilities; fire safety; and adequate lighting and ventilation. Adequate due diligence shall be taken to prevent accidents and injury to health by minimizing hazards inherent in the working environment.

8. Hours of Work

Hours of Work:  Town Print honors labor by maintaining work schedules in compliance with the maximum hours of permitted work set by local law where workers are employed. Except in emergency or unusual business circumstances or where restricted otherwise by local law, regular working hours are expected to be limited to 48 hours or less per week, and the total hours worked in any 7-day period should not exceed 60 hours. Workers shall be provided with at least one day off in every 7-day period. All overtime shall be consensual and compensated according to applicable law.

9. Compensation

Wages and Benefits: Town Print complies with all applicable local wage and hour laws and regulations, including those relating to minimum wages, overtime hours and wage rates and legally mandated labor benefits. Town Print will also promote, where feasible, a wage and benefits regime that meets or exceeds industry benchmark standards so as to provide labor an ability to meet basic needs based on locality and to provide discretionary income for improvement of life. Town Print will compensate employees for overtime hours at such premium rate as is legally required or, if there is no legally prescribed premium rate, at a rate at least equal to or more than the regular hourly compensation rate.

10. Business Ethics

Town Print is committed to performing all aspects of  business with high standards of ethical conduct. Town Print requires compliance with all antitrust laws applicable to our business, as well as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and all similar international, federal, state or local laws. Town Print prohibits the provision of any benefit upon any domestic or foreign government official or agent, or any employee of a private company for the purpose of improperly influencing any action by such individual. Town Print encourages the prompt disclosure and proper management of any conflicts of interest that may arise within our business operations or transactions so that these core business ethics philosophies are honored.

11. Environmental

Town Print is committed to a role of environmental leadership in our industry. Town Print promotes environmental responsibility as a core value for our business and our industry partners. Town Print complies with all applicable environmental laws and regulations and is vigilant in identifying ways to proactively address environmental impacts of our operations.

12. Other Laws

Town Print will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those pertaining to the manufacturing, pricing, sale and distribution of merchandise. All references to “applicable laws and regulations” in this Code of Conduct include local and national codes, rules and regulations as well as applicable treaties and voluntary industry standards.
